Alexandra Holloway Pinup and I had talked about doing a Halloween shoot for a few years now. Finally we did one and it was awesome! One day I had an idea, as a result of a previous adventure. I took what I learned a step further. “Ghost Pinups” is the thought I had. And to make it even creepier we shot in a cemetery at night with the use of slow exposure and light painting. Madeline and Madam Havoc came along as well. Check it out!
RI After Adventure
Last year Alex and I attended a shoot in Rhode Island. Then afterward we went exploring around the coast near Newport and Fort Adams. We found some cool scenery and took a few pictures out by the ocean. Check them out!
Ready Set Drift Limerock Park 2014
For those of not familiar with Limerock Park, it’s a really cool racetrack in the middle of rural Connecticut. Just do a Google search and I’m sure you’ve seen it in some form or another, whether it be
The Wilderness Mirrored
Introducing Lily Mae! She came dressed in an awesome fur coat and a brought a cool looking mirror. Then our adventure in the woods began! We came across a cool lean-to as well as some other interesting natural backdrops. The juxtaposition of old school high fashion and glamour against the natural backdrop of nature tied it all together well with Lily’s fur coat.
Silver City Shakedown Volume 4
Silver City Shakedown is an annual old school pre-’65 hot rod show located in Meriden, CT. It’s full of a wide array of cars from shiny, to stock, to rusty and custom. And it’s put on by the The Others Car Club.
There was a bunch of cool bands, burlesque performances and of course a lot of awesome cars!
Vermonster 4×4 2014
I’m not much into big trucks or for that matter know much about them. At least until I made the journey from MA to VT to check out Vermonster. It really opened my eyes into what this is all about. They are just race cars with really big tires. Just as much time and money is spent on them as any race car. And they are just as purpose built too.
The only exposure that I’ve ever had are monster trucks at what is now the Mass Mutual Center when I was a kid at Monster Jam and whatever 4 wheel drives are rolling around in my area. But this was a bit different. Not only did Vermonster 4×4 have professional monster trucks, but mud bogs, side-by-side racing, mega trucks, amateur racers trying their luck at the mud pit as well as other off-roading activities.
