Import Evolution happened quite some time ago back on September 9th 2012 at the DCU Center in Worcester, Ma. I was first in line as I got there a bit earlier than 11:30 a.m. when it was supposed to start. It ended up being closer to 1 p.m. when things got on because there were a few cars running late that they didn’t want to start without. What I didn’t know, until later, was I could had my car in the show also. It was, if only for the fact, that the price of parking plus the cost of the ticket would have equaled the price of the entrance fee. Too bad, next time.
Anyway, I did get some good shots from the outside while I was waiting and parked next to some pretty cool cars as well. You’ll also notice that most of the outside shots and ones closer to the door, with better lighting, came out a bit better. It was kind of funky lighting in there and I was arguing with my camera a lot. Haha.
Enough of the negative. It really was an awesome day! Aside from the all the awesome cars that were already at the show, I got to meet and hang out with some really awesome people. Yum Yums from her blog/ website BoostandBoobs.com had set up an awesome booth with pictures of models plastered all over it, a couch, a cotton candy machine and a whole lot of candy. For which, to her great surprise, later got a trophy for being the first blog/ website to ever have a booth at Import Evolution. The guys from PHENOMenal Vinyl were there doing a live demo on one of their cars. (Unfortunately both their cars got damaged in Hurricane Sandy. Best of luck to them and everyone else who is still dealing with all of the aftermath.) Jeffry from Fresh2DeathRI was there. And of course BoostandBoobs model Miss Aubrey Nicole being stunning and a really cool person to talk to. I also met up with a few other people that I met at Tune by Tuna earlier in the summer and got some more shots of their cars. If you don’t know any of these people, you must Like them on Facebook Immediately!
HUGE THANKS to everyone that I got to hang out with and meet, especially Yum Yums and Aubrey Nicole! Also, be sure to check out the rest of the coverage on my “new” Flickr account (which I’ve haven’t used since 2007 or updated to Pro until now). And check out Girls of Import Evolution for some more fun! Thanks everyone and hope you’re enjoying the New Year!
